Head of School

The Academy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Head of School. The Head of School serves as leader of the school, responsible for daily operations. The Head is responsible for monitoring and reporting on academic standards, financial health, development opportunities, and community relationships. This includes the development and delivery of curriculum and programs consistent with the school’s philosophy and goals and assuring adherence to policy and procedure. 3rd Grade

The Academy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of third grade teacher. Candidates should have a comfort level working within a self-contained classroom environment with classroom sizes ranging from 14-18 students. The teacher will also partner closely with their grade-level colleague to provide subject-specific instruction in certain areas. . US Math

The Academy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of upper school math instructor. Candidates should have a comfort level teaching Algebra II, Math Analysis (advanced Algebra II), and Precalculus. The position may be negotiated to be full-time or part-time dependent upon the expertise and availability of the candidate. The Academy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of middle school math instructor. Candidates should have a comfort level teaching Math 6, Prealgebra, and Algebra I. US English

The Academy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of upper school English teacher (full-time). Candidates should have a comfort level teaching sophomore level English with an emphasis on writing and reading (novels). This is a full-time position, and the instructor will teach American Literature (11th grade), English 9, and a combination of semester-long courses in focus areas of their choosing (i.e. Southern Authors, Literature of Revolution, Journalism, etc.). MS/US Spanish

The Academy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of middle and upper school Spanish instructor (full-time). Candidates should have a comfort level teaching a wide range of courses from semester introductory level (middle school) to Spanish III and/or AP Spanish. The instructor will teach six sections/periods of a seven period day. The instructor will also monitor a morning homeroom, serve as adviser to a group of middle or upper school students, and sponsor the Spanish Honor Society. Coaches

The Academy is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of JJV (middle school) football assistant coach (Fall), cross-country coaches (Fall), JJV (middle school) basketball coach (Winter), and soccer coaches (Spring). Compensation is offered per season and role. ECP Instructors

The Academy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of extended care program instructor (part-time) for the 2023-2024 school year. Candidates should have a comfort level working with ages three through elementary age in an active, fun, and high energy setting after school. Undergraduate students pursuing education, early childhood development, or other roles are ideal for this 7:00-8:10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. position.
